Computer classes, organized by WBFN, are designed for all level of users, from beginners to advanced. The classes are held in a friendly atmosphere. REGISTER as soon as possible. Basic features of computers

A 3-day course that explains the basic features of the Windows system. It is highly recommended if you are just beginning to work with computers.

Highlights

Half-hour presentation on how computers work; organization of the computer’s memory and the place of Windows system in it. Desktop organization: dealing with Windows files and programs, saving files, organizing files and folders; using the control panel for screen savers, customization of desktop wallpaper, mouse, keyboard, colors, etc.; using Help.

A 5-day course that teaches all the main features of the popular text-processing application MS Word. Actually, it is much more than an introduction, you will learn how to make a table of contents and even work with tables. If you want to edit text quickly and efficiently, this course is for you.

Highlights

Customizing the standard toolbar, saving text, insertion/override modes, undo, select/copy/move blocks of text, the formatting toolbar, margins, paragraph formatting, page numbers, printing, checking spelling/grammar, setting up the language, headers and footers, footnotes/Endnotes, style boxes, format painter, tables of contents, AutoText and AutoCorrect, AutoSummarize, comparing documents, working with tables.

A 2-day course that teaches how to create a spreadsheet and database in this accounting-oriented program. You could, for example, create your home budget. It is a practical introduction to the creation, design, and use of spreadsheets in the business environment. Emphasis will be placed on basic functions including creation, formatting, maintenance, graphing, and printing of spreadsheets. This course is designed for beginning spreadsheet users.

Highlights

Dealing with an Excel worksheet and workbook moving techniques; add/delete/resize columns and rows; learn what are Excel types of data; creating formulas; undo; selecting and manipulating ranges, naming ranges; functions with 3-dimensional references; moving/copying data; copying formulas with cell references; relative and absolute references; filling in a series of data; formatting techniques; charts, pictures; print preview and setup, printing techniques.

This 3-day course teaches how to design and create a database, make queries, reports and forms. Practice by creating your own database for your book collection/wine/spices or address book.
