Dear Fellow Members,
We welcome you all to an exciting FY22. We move forward to a new fiscal year but with the same stride and commitment towards our members across the globe. Let us take this opportunity to offer our heartfelt gratitude to Padmini Mahurkar, President WBGFN FY20, who did a phenomenal job during the last year. Her dedication and zest towards our organization bore many fruits towards further development of the Family Network. Let’s also not forget the EC members who offered not only their time but showed tremendous support at every opportunity. To those moving on, we would like to say a big thank you and good luck for your future endeavors!
We would also like to thank our numerous volunteers who go beyond their call of duty towards making WBGFN a success. They work tirelessly showing incredible team spirit and devotion. We are fortunate to have such an incredible team both at HQ and Worldwide, working as pillars of strength at all times. And moving forward we aim to build on that even further to have representatives in majority of the Country Offices.
We are mindful that even though the USA and many countries in Europe are opening, there remain places where the pandemic continues to affect families and communities. Please be assured that the Family Network is constantly striving to further broaden our reach and offer not just support but solutions for some of the trials and challenges our families are being faced with. COVID has certainly taught us resilience and adaptability, but we continue to watch and monitor situations very closely. We aim to continue with the hybrid model once offices open, making sure our Worldwide membership continues to avail the services. Summer is usually the time to travel and don’t we all deserve some down time with our families to recuperate from the busy months. Without losing the holiday spirit, we urge you to be mindful and sensitive at the same time. Have the best of Summer and see you all very soon, all energized and ready to make a difference!
