Emergency Support - Resources
The Security Operations Center (SOC) is available 24 hours a day for emergency assistance related to the World Bank Group (WBG). Non-WBG related emergencies resources are provided through local government offices. Very importantly, resources are available to provide support and assistance to WBG families—family or individual counseling for difficult personal issues including domestic abuse.

Personal and Family Support Services
Family counseling can help. Whether you are facing any of the concerns listed below or any stress related to life transitions, reach out to the Family Consultation Service (FCS). The FCS offers free* and confidential consultations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with licensed multilingual counselors who can relate to internationally relocated families. Assessments, counseling and referral services, either by phone or in person, are available for all spouses/partners and families of the World Bank Group whether at HQ or in Country Offices. Many of our families reach out to the FCS to get help for:

Free 24/7 crisis intervention, safety planning, confidential specialist advice and referral are available through the Domestic Abuse Prevention Program (DAPP) for staff members, spouses/partners and families having concerns about their domestic relationships. Call the DAPP Hotline at 1-202-458-5800 from anywhere in the world to speak with counselors trained to work with families dealing with domestic abuse, cultural issues, family and interpersonal conflicts. Counseling is available in several different languages. Support is available for Country Offices.
