Dear Member,
As we step into October, fall brings in a season of celebrations and festivals! Our executive committee and volunteers are working diligently to make WBFN's programs and activities more relatable and accessible to our members worldwide. We’d love to hear from you about your needs and expectations, so we can serve you better.
October is also Domestic Abuse Awareness Month, and this year’s theme is “Heal, Hold & Center.” Let’s take this opportunity to extend kindness to one another and support those who may be facing difficult times.
The Domestic Abuse Prevention Program (DAPP) has organized important awareness events this year that you won’t want to miss. Please mark your calendars and share the details with your fellow WBFN spouses/partners:
“Constructing Healthy Relationships” on October 23
“Pensions and HR Information” on October 24
On September 12, we inaugurated a mosaic at the Family Network's Washington, DC office. This unique piece of art represents the vibrant, diverse WBFN community. Gertrud Müller, a longtime member and volunteer, proposed this creative project to foster unity and cross-cultural understanding through art, featuring colorful designs and meaningful anecdotes.
We look forward to working together to welcome, support, and advocate for our diverse members globally, as we truly are a community of beautiful mosaics.
Kind Regards,
Sandipa and Joel
